We're due for some of that here too---Maybe next week!!

Great looking dogs!
Judy & I were just discussing the fact that we are out of hot dogs this morning.
I think I'm going to use hog casing the next batch I make so we get some really big dogs.
My sheep casings make little dogs, and I'd like to have some big ones like my Hot Italian sausage.
Anyhow your dogs look delicious!

Hey Al, I don't know what size sheep casing you are using, but you can get sheep casing on the large size, 7/8"~1" in dia. little larger than a hot dog, but smaller than hog casings....and will still fit on a bun easily.
You would have to make a lot of Hot Dogs buying a hank.
But then again a fatter breakfast link yummy

I love chili dogs Richie and yours look great. I know what you mean about weather. Sub-zero on day then almost 50* the next. I makes it hard to time cooks.

Point for sure.

Toy Packo's has great dogs but they are not as good as home made. Kind of a thing to go to a Mudhens game and then grab a dog there. You can buy their relish up here in the mitten. Not to my taste though.

That's a serious double dog, Richie! Chili and dogs are a great combo

Pete that it was I didn't think I was going to finish it.Wife said we still have 6 of the home made left. Then she threw the bomb we have to finish the store bought before we make more.:(

Hey Bear I was born in Toledo & when I was a little guy 8 or 9 years old, every weekend my Mom & Dad would take me to this place called "The bun-n-burger". No tables just a counter with bar stools, but I can still taste their hot dogs & burgers. And the shoestring potato's were to die for. That is really the only good memory I have of Toledo!!! :(
Judy & I left there for Florida when we were in our early 20's.

The Ohio mention got me thinking ,, Stadium mustard . My buddy was up that way years ago and went to a baseball game . Brought home a case of it . We used to order it and have it sent down . Good stuff .
