  1. Hi all,

Long time lurker, figured I'd finally sign up.

I'm fairly experienced in the world of standard BBQ, but an amateur with smoking.  I've recently started smoking on my Weber Kettle with a Smokenator had some good results (and some duds).  I decided to pick up an MES electric (got the 30").  I had considered the WSM, but find the charcoal smoking process to be a bit to hands on at this stage (love the process, but hard to dedicate the time to a charcoal smoker consistently at this stage).
  2. Hello and welcome to the fun.  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  The trial and error method works well.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
