My name's Bryan, and I'm from the Adirondack Mountains of New York.  I'm no stranger to hunting and fishing, and the delicious products thereof, but I'm relatively new to the world of "smokers".  I've burned a lot of hickory in my BBQ's over the years, but I just bought my first "dedicated smoker" (Masterbuilt Pro, Dual Fuel upright).  I've already encountered a few questions and problems, which I'll post in "Supplies and Equipment/Propane Smokers".

I'm looking forward to meeting folks, and learning whatever you want to share.

Would you mind updating your profile to include your location please? It helps when answering questions to know where you are.

Congrats on the new smoker. I don't know anything about that particular one, I have an MES40 (electric) but I'm looking at adding a second propane one. 

Lots of helpful folks as well as info, tips, tricks and recipes. There's also the search bar at the top of the page to help you out.

Welcome to the site.  You may find a need to clean the smoker well and store it securely to keep the bears out of it.
