Hi I'm Paulie & I am new to bbq & the art of smoking, but like it a lot. I love smoking spareribs & have also tried pork butt. I haven't tried brisket yet, but plan to. I live in Flint, MI & I bbq with a a Weber kettle grill.

First off welcome to SMF. Your gonna like it here cause there are alot of good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smokin. Next I think you should look up the E-course it's free and very informative and it will show you the basics of smoking. Then check this out

Welcome to the forum, Paulie! Sounds like you started out about like I did...spares on a gas grill with smoke. I got ahold of a GOSM and did some yard birds, a couple turkeys, and kept after those spares. Then I startde hangin' out here...the rest is history!
