I'm looking to get some grates for my smoker I'm building. The size I need is 20x18. I'm not sure if "grate" is the correct term. Just looking for the type that go in weber kettles except for rectangle and 20x18.

Can anyone direct me to a website that I can find these please?

Thank you.

Ahh... thx much.. didn't know if you could use expanded metal or not. That will be my easiest solution. Doesn't have to be any special steel does it? I know not to use galvanized.

Thanks much!

I don't think it would matter just scrub it good and burn it in or season it before using the first time.

Actually, you could use galvanized if that's what you had available. Temps in a smoker will not get high enough to off gas the zinc.

Thanks again! I will pick them up tomorrow. My smoker build is about 95% complete. I feel like a kid in a candy shop!

Now I have seen and bought some replacement grates at Lowe's or the Homeless Depot. Now they will expand to that size I believe and they are porclean coated too.

go to bqq parts.com   they have most anything you need

Thanks again. I'm just going to the machine shop near my work. I can get them for free. :)
