Help Choosing a Gaming Computer - Purchase Made

This going to take some time. Getting the HDMI issues worked out sucks! I ordered a Display Port to HMDI adapter, See how that works. I going to have to get a small monitor that will work with this computer. Not really sure what graphics settings I need to use but will figure it out I guess. The new HDMI switch I bought is manual but want to see if that works to pass audio on older computer.

Now I have to login on both pc's. Cant remember how I fixed that in the past. More research!

HDMI to Display port or the reverse has not been an issue for me on previous setups. Get a monitor that can render 1080p natively. The size is not as important as the native resolution. It will save you headaches going forward.

Most 4K TVs can do 1080P without a problem. Other resolutions might not do so well at least until windows is fully up. They might not show the boot up screen or let you into the bios since they cant load a low resolution startup.

You might not think it is working but if you wait long enough for the full boot up process to happen it just might show up. That is if the TV can handle the resolution that the computer is putting out once it is in full windows mode.

I hope that makes sense. I have dealt with this for many years.

Look at my post above where I have used a 15" 1080p monitor to setup now 5 computers with windows 11. Once I have all the software I want installed I can move them to the location they are set for and the 4K monitor has no problem working with each computer.

As for the login I setup with a Microsoft account at first since it is required and I have one. Then I make a local logon and set it to an administrator account. Then I logoff the Microsoft account and only use the local account.

I am in the same boat, Loosing my computer due to the Windows 11 upgrades. Mine is obsolete.
Get a 32 Ram and 1 TB, should be able to get one @ $1 K or less ?
You may have other needs that to spend more !?
