Good morning all!  Just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm gcates and I'm from central NC.  My big brother introduced me to this site and I look forward to learning a lot from you guys.  I'm a very novice smoker and eager to learn as I love the art of putting smoke to things.  I'm married with two kids and am In education.  I'm hoping the free summer will afford me lots of time to experiment.  Thanks for having me!! 

ETA: I smoke on a Char-Griller Duo with side firebox.  I've sealed it around the edges, done the smoke stack mod and added the two side thermometers.  It's a decent little set up, but I'd love to up grade to a smokey mountain.
