Hello smokers!

My name is Donovan.  I am from Norther California.  I've been grilling for about 5 years and smoking for about 3.  My first smoker was a Traeger, Big tex, I also own an Akorn and Masterbuilt 40" propane smoker that I've used once.  I've been a reader here for a long time but I'm having problems with my traeger so I've decided to make an account to ask for assistance before getting rid of it.

Then we're neighbors!  So am I.  Been here so long I used to be able to see the Sutter Buttes from my kitchen window.  Now all I see are neighbor's back yards.   Thankfully the heat wave has broken and the highs today are back into the upper 80s.  After the last two weeks, I may need a sweater!

Thank you submariner. Just looked up the Timberline, looks awesome. That might be my next grill if I can’t figure out my current one.

@Ray you’ve definitely been here longer than I have. Yesterday’s weather was great. I’ll take that any day.
