Hello from SW Florida

Hey guys!
First off this is a great site. I've searched and read through some of the threads; all good stuff. I love to cook and try new things which has lead me to smoking meat. I'm rather new to smoking. My wife bought me a vertical propane smoker from Lowe's last month and I've been smoking each weekend when I'm not fishing or golfing. Its a lot of fun and everything has turned out pretty tasty so far. YouTube and forums like this helped me along the way. I'm excited to learn new techniques and help others out if I can.

Welcome! I service the breathing air compressor (Air Trailer) for the Estero FD. I was just there Monday. I also service Greater Naples Fire District, which allows me to sneak over to Grimm's Stone Crab in Everglades City.

I joke with people that when grocery shopping in Miami, you grab something spiky out of the produce department and use it to kill whatever is crawling out of the fish case. That's fresh!

My sister and her husband moved to Kendall two weeks before Hurricane Andrew. Welcome to Florida. Those roof tiles can fly.
