Greetings from the DC suburbs! Been a lurker for some time and have found many great recipes on this site. Started out smoking on my Weber 22” and have gotten more adventurous since getting my Masterbuilt gas smokehouse for Christmas a year and a half ago.

Thanks for all the great advice and recipes everyone contributes here. Looking forward to being an active participant!

Welcome to the site, and participation is always welcome.

Welcome!!! I love my Weber too! I've produced many a tasty meals on it! I had to step it up and just got a large (60" x 30") offset stick burner... It's too much fun playing with fire and food :emoji_wink:!!! This forum is a great group of people with a lot of great information...

Welcome from Michigan...

I've yet to have an issue that someone here didnt offer valuable insight to help overcome.
We look forward to having you as a member.

Welcome from Wisconsin. :emoji_cat:

I lived in Fairfax about 10 years ago. Loved the DC area. Except the traffic. ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome, all! I’m flin Chantilly, right near Dulles Airport.

As for the pic request, Here are some pics of the flat brisket I did for Mother’s Day this weekend. My First brisket and got much good advice from here (as always). Ended up being an 8 hour cook at around 220 then rested for 2 hours before slicing. Mix of hickory chunks and oak chips in the gas smoker. The finished product and the halfway point, just before basting and covering
