Just wanted to say hello from Northern California I have been a big fan of the page for some time now thanks for all the good info. I have been a backyard BBQ’er now for a few years and just recently competed in my first rib cook off and took 4th out of 10 teams. Hope to continue to learn and hopefully find someone in the area that has used Lang 48 for sale . I’m currently cooking on a WSM

Welcome to SMF and the journey/addiction!:D
Congrats on the strong finish in the cookoff!

Where in Northern CA you from? We spent 20 years in Modesto, or as I came to refer to it, the armpit of California due to the crime and gangs in the central valley

Cleary13 Welcome to the forum. Nice job on the ribs and 4th place finish. Is that a home made replacement access door on your WSM?

Chris

Bbqsmokermods.com I love it holds temp and gives you a little more room to get to the second shelf if you wanna cook up some veggies

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a cool, foggy and damp day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Nice set-up

Gary

Robert, welcome to SMF! Glad you're here and living the smoky dream with your WSM.

Langs are few and far between out here on the West Coast due to shipping. Check out KAT BBQ Smokers (Google and YouTube). I believe they are located in Modesto. Solid reputation and nice lineup of reverse flow and cabinet smokers.

Enjoy the forum!

Ray
