Hello everyone....

Name is Rich and live in the lower Hudson valley, 20 miles north of NYC...

Been charcoal grilling for may years now and am ready to take the next step in smoking...

At the time being, have a 22" Weber kettle with Slow 'N Sear, and Maverick ET-735...

Let the smoking begin...

Have a great weekend all!

Hey Rich, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and smoking on a Weber Kettle!  I had not heard of the Slow n Sear until your post and with a little help from Google found out it is a fairly recent addition to the available Kettle accessories.  I cut my smoking teeth with a Smokenator before moving on to a WSM.

Thanks for sharing and have fun on the Forum!

Thank you Ray...and looking to learn more from the experts on the forum, as well as contribute where I can....

All the Best!

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from cooler and rainy day in East Texas and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome. I'm also from the Hudson Valley. 50 miles north of the city.

Welcome to the forum.

Glad to have you aboard Rich!

You can do just about anything on a Weber Kettle.
