Hello from Morton, MN

Hi all, name is Ryan and I am from SW Minnesota.  I have never had a smoker before and just got one from my cousin that he has used for years.  It is a old chest freezer modified to stand on end with casters so you can move it around.  It has a electric burner in it for the heat.  I will post a picture once I get back home.  I am going to do some modifications to it to make it a bit more user friendly.  I hope to do my first ribs in it this weekend!
