My name is Jim and I am a novice smoker. Have a Brinkman Gourmet smoker that I picked up on craigslist, brand new for $50. I think it's a good deal and a good "starter smoker". Tried it a few times, smoked a pork shoulder, turkey and brisket so far. Ran across this site searching for a good rub and sauce for pulled pork. I want to learn how to make and smoke sausage so you will be hearing from me in the near future.
