Hello From Connecticut

Hello All,

My name is Asa, pronounced Ace-a. I live in Connecticut, born and raised. I am completely new to smoking and looking for a challenge and a way to enjoy cooking good food. I've been lurking on here for a few weeks while contemplating taking the leap into the meat smoking world. Well, I believe I am ready. This seems like a great forum to learn from and I have already started. I have settled on what type of smoker I want to get, definitely a stick burner, most likely an offset. I will make another post looking for recommendations for the cheap ones I have my eye on.
