Welcome to the forums Arnold!  You've found the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. This is my smoker build took me 2 weeks to make i sorta went at it blindly only using a single picture i found on the internet and a BBQ calculator that gives like size ratios for the different components which a friend showed me. I dont know if it was well made but if got approval from a guy i know who also does a lot of smoking so i went with it.

Welcome from a fellow BCite, Arnold!

Man, I wish I started smoking when I was 18. I just retired and started smoking last year.

You have picked a great place to learn. There are many great people here, a lot of good information in the posts and plenty of good advice.
