Hello from Southern Alberta

Hello my name is Daniel. I am extremely new to the idea of smokers but am definitely intrigued and am considering building one in the near future. I am a welder in southern Alberta, Canada. I am not to worried about the build on the side of the welding and steel work but definitely need to learn how a smoker works. Found this forum and looks like there is a ton of useful info on building and using a smoker. I don't know what else to say as an introduction so I guess this is my Hello.

Hey I do know roughly where Onoway is. I have been there once or twice. I live in taber, its about 40 mins east of lethbridge

My dad and I used to hunt pheasant in the Taber area, haven't been around there in years. Beautiful country around there.
