Hello!
My name is Dan Benjamin. I live in Austin, Texas, where BBQ is a way of life, as you know. I decided that driving 5 minutes was too far to go to get great smoked meats, so I've recently purchased a Masterbuilt Pro and I'm here to learn the meat secrets.
I've already done a nice first smoke based on the great advice here in the forums as a lurker. Pork spare ribs, and they turned out great -- so thank you! (Pictures attached, how'd I do?)
Tomorrow's smoke will be two racks of baby back ribs, followed by a pork butt the next day.
