We try our best to keep things on track here... but I hadn't even looked at this thread until tonight, because I had no interest in it. There's old school and there's the new coming in, we can't stop it so... guess it's time for a drink for me... no recipe needed!

@KM0AGA, my apologies. I totally misunderstood what you were doing. My financial advisor does the same thing. He uses AI to record our meetings, summarize and create a document. The results are very professional but I'm not sure how Patti, his secretary feels about it.

I was a mod for a BBQ site called Kamado Guru (now gone), we had a recipe section and when I worked up a good recipe I'd document it there. I then downloaded the recipes I documented along with my favorites from others that posted and put them in to a book. That's how I rolled, I always keep notes when I'm working out a new process or food, it's required when you want to tweak it over and over, but I've been doing this for 30 years, it's second nature usually. I document to share and my grandfather was a great cook but he never wrote anything down.... Now what?

As for A.I. In my line of work adoption is mandatory, the import thing folks need to understand is that is should be used as a tool, not a crutch. There should always be a human in the loop. Use it to learn advance math theory, don't use it to do advanced math, use it to enhance your skills. It will happily do "it" for you but consider this, like me, most of you probably had every phone number of every family member and friend memorized, now you probably don't, it's stored in you pocket on that phone. We no longer exercise that ability and it's weak. The same will happen to people that use A.I. as a replacement instead of an enabler. I would suggest course work on using A.I. to anyone that wants to do more with it than a glorified google search, you'll learn a ton of great information.

I wonder if any of these inventors ever watched Terminator? Great movie.

I will own the using AI to create recipes. I just didn't think there was so much gatekeeping on this website. I am a very busy person, using a new technology to help out is a good thing in my opinion. We are all using computers right now to communicate with each other, why aren't you guys getting upset at that, do you drive vehicles, or wash clothes in a washing machine. I assume the gatekeepers here drive horses and buggies, and wash clothes on a rock down by the river. If im out of line fine, but this is why i stayed away from this site for so long. It used to be a free exchange of thoughts and information, but certain people on here just can't accept it.

If this terminates me from this site, fine, i am getting tired

People expressed their thoughts and they didn't happen to agree with yours. Doesn't make them or you right or wrong. Noone came after you personally. I think you over reacted by a large margin here. I see both the pros and cons of AI and I'd actually try what you did just to see how it turned out. That said I'm in the proceed with caution group when it comes to many uses of AI.
