Well I have been a member since Dec 2015 and have always forgotten to post pictures of before and after. I love all of the good advice given from all pit masters alike. Today I am smoking a 9lb Boston Butt rubbed with a KC BBQ Rub. Gonna hit it with Pecan wood for smoke as I like the mild flavor it gives. Will give a after shot tomorrow.

Enjoy the ride Mr. Oop. It's been too long since I've smoked a butt, but I've just been too busy to devote the time to it. Maybe time to invest in a smoker controller.

Boy that looks awesome. It seems like forever since I’ve made any pulled pork. I’ve been on a rib kick lately. After my brisket smoke for the 4th I’m going to break out some shoulder. Thanks for the inspiration.

Looks like a great start. I still have a couple packages of PP in the freeze. Once I get down to one or two then I'll have to fire up another butt to replenish. Remember to post the finished product.

Here is the finished product. The guys at work tore it up and left nothing. So I would say it was a hit!!!
