Hello everyone!  My name is Jim I consider myself an amatuer smoker as I have only been at it for about a year now.  I have had numerous successful smokes and many thanks to Jeff's recipies, newsletters, and posts from you guys and ladies!  I finally signed up to join in the conversations!  And of course I have found myself with a slight dilemma!!!  I currently have a little Brinkmann Smokin' Grill and have recently convinced my wife that we don't need to replace our LP grill with another one but with a charcoal grill instead... This comes after I talked her into letting me spend the extra money on a bigger and better smoker this spring! So now I am in search of a single very versatile and effective unit.  Does anyone have any suggestions???

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us! You are going to love it here.

This site is the best one for research for the right smoker for you.  Go to the different parts of the forums for smokers.  Introduce yourself and ask questions.  The members there will let you know the pros and cons of the ones they own.  Good Luck!

If you need any help roaming around the forums...just holler.  Will be glad to help out!
