Has anyone tried smoking some chocolate?

As the weather starts to chill down for the winter and I start thinking about what I'll be cold smoking during the next 3-4 months, I was just wondering if anyone ever put a couple pieces of chocolate in their smoker while they were doing cheese, nuts, pepper or whatever.

I cold smoked a chocolate bunny and peeps on my MAK a few years ago. Bunny was good but the peeps got kinda crusty. I think its still on youtube.
 
Here's a dude who cold smoked a piece of chocolate cake using his AMNPS.  Crazy!

I used my amnps to cold smoke chocolate chips and then used them in a homemade ice cream recipe. People thought i was crazy but once they ate it, they changed their toon. Go for it!
 
That's awesome, nepas!   Glad you found the video-- thanks for sharing. I need to get off my keister and give it a try myself. :)  

We've got one guy that does cold smoked ice cream in the winter-- says the vanilla tastes like toasted marshmallows.

Bruce and I did a west/east coast cold smoke with these.
 
OK, I guess I didn't realise how far off the charts you all would go. Chocolate? Peeps? Cake? LOL
The scary thing is that I actually watched the videos and am contemplating smoked ice cream come January....

I did some cakewurst also.

Cleaned hog casing half filled with chocolate cake batter then on the MAK. I will find the pics..

Here's why I started this thread. Want to try smoking some Sea.....er..C Bass. Can you imagine bringing a couple dozen of these on a party boat next time we go fishing?
