I love smoked ham but am not a fan of the sweetness some hams have. Can you suggest a glaze that is not sweet? I plan to smoke my first ham soon. Going to do the resmoke.

The purpose of the sweet glaze is to cut some of the salt of the cure. That being said, I don't want candy coated pork either. I started long ago using Coco~Cola or DR Pepper when foiling a ham and/or I also like a homemade peach glaze using frozen peaches with light fancy maple syrup. Its just lends itself well to the flavors of a smoked ham IMHO.
