I need a new rib recipe

I really like the modified Memphis Dust rub I've been using but I want something new and different.

So I had these ribs at Chef J in BBQ in KC and they were delicious! I love the glaze they used on top. It was mostly sweet with a perfect amount of spice.

Do you all have any recommendations?

(I'm not a fan of vinegar or wrapping methods. I just smoke to the bend test).

I've used the Meatheads Memphis Dust for years and have tweaked it here and there for a little variety. I don't have the notes of exactly what I used to do but some ideas are. I normally leave the sugar close to the same ratio because I like the bark I get on it.
-Add some Chinese 5 Spice (careful it is strong stuff)
-Sub out part of the American Paprika for Hungarian (little spicier). Also do half the Paprika and half Ancho Chili Powder. I have done Smoked but not very often beings the meat is getting smoked anyways and I find it to be bitter sometimes.
-Tweak some of the spices and add cayenne or habanero powder, Frag Out Flavor-Fitty is a Mango Habanero that will turn up the heat pretty quick.
-Sub out or do partial garlic powder with roasted garlic powder
