That was my only highlight of winter was getting out the blower and spending about 2-3 hours of moving that crap for me and some of the neighbors. The tractor mount is nice, but the drag behind was much handier. An older (don't remember the brand) but never a problem with snow injesting.
After that was done the driving around sucked and I have a 4wd truck.
But that is fading into memory. My 4th year of snow birding. You all can keep the winter experiences
I wonder if they sell that locally... Or would I have to have it shipped to Florida...
Go to an Ace. They may have one for you Keith.
Talk to Jerry pineywoods pineywoods or Brian bmudd14474 bmudd14474 as they may have them stocked in northern Florida after last winter's surprise.

We had about 8 inches of wet a couple weeks ago, and the Ariens made quick work of it.

Steve do you ever have to put or make a winter front for yours ? My X380 sucks so much snow in, it freezes the carb for the next go-around. Made a cheap one out of black semi tarp. JD wants 1 leg for they're strap on front.
You mean this?

When I bought mine. I bought one for it thinking it would be needed after reading about this issue. Come to find out. My model year has baffles built in to correct that. And it isn't recommended. I've never had a problem. So it is just laying around in the garage somewhere.

MileHighSmokerGirl MileHighSmokerGirl I been abusing my Husquavara for over a decade, its a beast. So ready to start hurling snow...but its so f'ing dry! 221 days without snow so far...

Where I live just outside of Thunder Bay Ontario we are right next to Lake superior. It can be a good thing or a bad thing. Sometimes it helps keeps temps warmer but sometimes if a storm comes in from the west and goes out into the lake the big lake will turn it around and you get round two of the storm.
So far this year we have the warming affect happening. Just north of us they got all the snow. I'm out in the country and we all have septic feilds that need a good covering of snow to help keep them from freezing up when the temps drop and the frost goes deep. That is the only time I pray for snow, after I get about a foot of fresh snow I stop praying. LOL
We had one bad year about 19-20 years ago, no snow till Jan. Temps were well below freezing for two months and tons of people out here had their septics and well lines freeze up including me. Not fun at all. Now I buy straw and give it a good covering of straw to help keep the shit warm. :)
Spring clean up is a pain but not as bad as a frozen septic tank.

What is the permitted frost depth over your way? Here it is 48".

Nothing to big but further north of me got hammered. Had enough to get the snowblower out and clean up the driveway.
One thing you learn early in life is never piss into the wind, same goes for snowblowing View attachment 727662
Be safe. We had 6 inches in the Canadian Rockies. This is actually a late start to our snow season.
