Hey all, just thougth I would say hi. I am a newbie to smoking. Have been reading your threads for the past week or so since I got a Brinkman elec for Father's Day. Looking at doing either a loing or brisket this weekend. Look forward to talking with all of you.

Hey guys thanks for the warm welcome. I will try and get some photos and results to you guys. I am definitely interested in mod my brinkman at some point. I am hoping by the time I get home from work today my Remote-check ET-7 Wireless Thermometer with 2 probes will be at my doorstep. I am hoping that will help me monitor the meat temp and the ambiant temp inside the cooker as well.
