This is first post ever on SMF. Was introduced to the site by one of my Sailors. I have a ton of experience eating great Memphis BBQ and baby back ribs with very, and mean very little experience smoking them. I tried for the first time last night and they were a little dry. Thank you to my buddies who suffered eating all the ribs because while telling they were great. I am interested in learning a lot more about smoking meat to eventually someday being able to provide the perfect rib, pulled pork and brisket.
I am currently deployed to Japan so what I learn here will need to be translated to another smoker upon my return the states. I look forward to the inputs from the great Pitmasters on SMF.
