Greetings all

  1. Hi all Andy here from NC. Been looking at this site awhile and find it great. I have been smoking for 35 plus years and have just recently started curing meats.(Wow what i have been missing). I have an older uds,a homemade offset stick burner smoker/grill. I just bought a smokin tex electric unit for convince(my 89 year old maw-n-law just moved in and takes some time away from smoke watch and worth every minute). Should have bought it a long time ago as i have fallen in love with the ease of it  and it does a GREAT job. I am retired from the equine industry. Look forward to getting to know everyone and getting great recipes. Thanks all.

    Welcome to the forums, Andy!  Glad you joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastime...Smoking and Grilling great food!  Lots of friendly and knowledgable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  It sounds like you're already a seasoned veteran!  I'll look forward to learning from your experience.  Just ask when you need help and you'll get plenty.
