  1. We call em Maid Rites around here in Central Illinois. Others call em loose meat sandwich's. I thought I'd share my recipe for them. I know it ain't smoked but they are damn good!

    2 lbs ground beef

1 cup chopped green bell pepper

    1 cup chopped onion

    4 cloves minced galic

    1 tsp salt

    1 tbl soul seasoning

    1 16oz beer

Brown ground beef with 4 cloves garlic, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbl soul seasoning and 8 oz of beer.

Once browned (do not drain grease!) add 1 cup bell pepper, 1 cup onions, and remaining 8 oz of beer.

Simmer for 1 hour uncovered stirring occasionally.

    Serve on hamburger buns.

    Hope you enjoy!

    Crezy Jake and Tia

Grease and Beer,  they gotta be good

  3. Oh yes my friend!

And one other thing make sure you get a 85/15 ground beef. That gives it great flavor but doesn't make it so greasy it makes ur heart stop!
