Gary, I'm so glad that your experience was not any worse than it was. Please keep a watch on everything and take it easy. Your health, your healing and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless you and God be with you, Joe.

Thanks Joe. Now it's just a matter of not too much too soon.

Gary, man alive! literally! I'm so glad your OK and that you went to the doctor even after you felt better.

Sounds like you got the right doctors and nurses looking at you and they figured it out quickly.

Nothing much worse than a quack or two trying to diagnose the obvious!

Glad your doing better my friend! and keep the rubber side down.

Wow glad your ok and recovering.

I can't imagine what that felt like, driving yourself while having a heart attack.

Thanks. Driving myself wasn't too bad. I just told myself, firmly, that since the heart attack hadn't managed to kill me, I was damned if i was gonna die before I got home.

Thank you my friend. I really believe that I simply couldn't have had a better medical team working on me. Every one of them went above and beyond.

Wow Gary, glad to hear that your on the mend!

Also good to know there wasn't much damage done to your heart.

Take it easy & enjoy your mini vacation!

Bless your Guardian Angel, Gary. I'm only 63, but I've had a couple of "racing heartbeat" experiences, and it really is kind of a wake up call (I haven't said anything to the Mrs). I rarely drive a big truck anymore and my job isn't dependent on it, but I totally understand the worry. I can't really afford to "retire" yet, either. I probably would have done the same as you....
It's hard to accept that you're just not as young and tough as you used to be.
Does your Guardian Angel wear fishnet stockings and high heels? Mine does

Thanks Dan. Yeah I'm afraid I tend to ignore the fact I'm getting old and just carry on as usual.

Sadly my angel doesnt wear fishnet and high heels but....the one tatooed on my chest does wear a Harley tshirt and swings a Morning Star. LOL Anniversary gift from Miss Linda.

Thanks Justin. I will. This will give me an unexpected 2 weeks to get some smoking in. There's a silver lining in every cloud if you just look for it.

Gary

Gary, just want to say, glad you are ok and on the mend.
I know far too many that have gone the other way to massive heart attacks or stroke.
God bless you and your family! Keep on truckin!
You'll be pouring the smoke out the stacks in no time.
Until then, like others have said, keep the TBS rolling!

Keep up the good fight an I pray for a full recovery.

Glad to hear there is minimal effect and that you are recovering well.

Driving with the blockage was bada$$. You are a tough one.

You remind me of the fellow who got mauled by a grizzly in the woods. After returning to his car, seriously injured he takes his time to record a YouTube video explaining his experience, ending with "stay safe out there".

Thanks. No question he was one tough guy. I heard about that but never saw the video.
