Talked to my neighbor awhile ago. Said he had an old grill he was gonna toss. Said it was heavy. That peaked my intrest.
He just came over and we unloaded it.
Quarter inch metal Oklahoma Joe grill.
Needs some TLC but nice little grill.

Nice! After you get it cleaned up and your neighbor tastes some of the goodies you produce he might want it back.

Yep. I only cook for myself so its great.
Got a reply from a "garage mechanic" to sandblast it for $150.
Ya, no thanks.
Just talked to my dad, he has a sandblaster. Giggity giggity.

Check into Horizon Smokers. These are the people that made the original OJ

You said that a smaller unit is fine with you. They may have an offset burner that will adapt to your "tank"
I have a Green Mountain Grill Daniel Boone smoker. Not looking to upgrade the OJ. It will serve its purpose as a quick (so to say) cooker for my needs.
Dont always have to fire up the smoker for 4-15 hrs.
