I just got back from an extended lunch. I had to drive 30 miles out to Queen Creek to pick up a "Propane Smoker" that I found on Craigslist for $35.00. When the guy took me out to his patio and it was a GOSM Big Block and a full tank of propane. I happily handed over the money and drove off grinning. I called my wife to let her know I had just picked up number 6 and she informed me that I wasn't allowed to buy anymore BBQ equipment. We'll just have to see what kind of deals I find...........

That sir was one great find

Craigslist Rocks!! I have noticed with the economy being what it is (or isn't), depending how u look at it. A lot of people are utilizing the bartar section. For example I have a huge (6 feet tall) well house (wishing well) that I needed to get rid of. Bought it for almost 700.00 in Maine. Decided to barter it on Craigslist. The same day I posted it, a guy contacted us and offered to reconstruct our lawn including hydroseed. (seems his wife wanted the well house real bad) and I want a new lawn. After the new roof goes up, he will come do the lawn and take the well. AWESOME!!!!

You all may want to consider bartering your smoking services in trade for somethimg you've been needin'!

This was after finding a MES for $20 last week. I really need to stop checking Craigslist every day.... For the sake of marital harmony, that is.

If yer wife used the term "BBQ Equipment" twist it a bit an say honey this is a smoker! Course yall might walk right inta a right arm swing with a rollin pin. Nice find though.

I'll skip messing around with semantics. The happier she is the more likely she'll object to me acquiring another family member. Now, I need to refinish my pair of Oklahoma Joe's fraternal twins. Nevermind that, babybacks are $1.99/lb at two of our local grocery stores this week.

There's meat to be smoked......
