went to academy this morning and saw this and thought i would pick some up...bought 2 4oz containers for .99 ea....looks like everyday price what do ya'll think good deal or no....and will probably need some info on how to use this pink salt...always used Moton TQ

That would be the same as Instacure #1 also know as Prague #1

But, pink salt is not interchangeable with TenderQuick! Be sure to read the instructions carefully.

That would be pretty high priced if you intend to use a lot of it...
It figures out to be about $6.60 per pound.

I've never seen it for sale locally around here.
Considering that you'll be able to cure 200 pounds of meat with those two containers thats a fair price.
Follow the directions on the label and you'll be fine.
