GMG Base Modification

I had a few issues with my GMG Daniel Boone's mobility so I made this over the weekend. I wanted to raise it 6", make a place to store the pizza oven when its not being used and make a shelf big enough for the drip pans and deflector. Fun project, very happy with it.

Looks like an interesting change.
Do you use the pizza oven there? Or move it up on the grill and just store it down there?

It gets moved up and fits in the grill. The bottom of the oven fit right over the firebox, supposedly the stone can get up to 900 degrees F.
