Getting the ° symbol for degrees

This thing is very new to me, but none of these things seem to work with my iMac.


We don't actually have an "Alt" key on this one.

We have an "Option" key, with a little tiny "alt" in the top left corner of that same key.

There's probably an easier way to do it on the iMac. I just haven't learned it yet.

Got it (finally) My DELL laptop: shift-Num Lk, then at the same time hold Fn and Alt, then while holding them down type 0176 using the key numbers within the letters. Thanks for the tips!

btw, not to waste it, so I'll let you know its a balmy 51° here! Not very ☼ either!

will show you ALT+???? keystrokes for other stuff, too (in Windows).

For example, [emoji]169[/emoji] 2010 Mythmaster ([emoji]169[/emoji] = ALT+0169), ½ teaspoon salt (½ = ALT+0189), etc.
