Hello fellow smokers

I am John. everyone calls me PapaJohn so that is what I go by.

my neighbor got a new smoker, so he gave me his OLD little Chief smoker. I used it for a couple of months and my wife decided that she liked smoked meat so much that she gave me a bigger Mastercraft electric smoker for my birthday. Love that woman.

I have only been smoking for less than a year but can tell that this is something that will continue for years to come.

I live in Loveland, Colorado which is an hour north of Denver.

Did a turkey for Thanksgiving this year. My son-in-law is now a committed smoker. I agree that I have never had a better tasting, juicier more wonderful bird. So now it is on to bigger and better things to stick in this little Masterbuild.

Just posted for information on brining. 1st time trying a Ham.

Happy smoking (and eating) to all.
