I bought different types of chubs and I was want to make up some fattys and freeze them for later smokes.
My question is, I would like to freeze a breakfast fatty with home fries and scrambled eggs in it. Can I do this since there are eggs in it?
Thanx gang.

I mean technically you could do it but I figure you are wondering how the eggs will comes out after being frozen.
I don't know, I would think it should be fine.
You know those breakfast meals you can buy in the frozen section at the grocery store, lots of them have scrambled eggs inside and when you nuke them they are...well they aren't good but they do retain their texture and shape.
I would say to go for it, it should be OK and at least you will know for sure after trying.

We used to do it when the kids were young for egg muffin sandwiches
Just dont add any water or milk to the scrambled eggs and they should be OK.

That's a good tip, I wouldn't have thought about that

Why wouldn't you smoke them and then freezer them??? I was thinking that way you could even slice them and then freeze them in single slices and re-heat as they are needed. We do that to differant smoked goods and depending on jow many of the kids show we can re-heat what is needed right then and there.
