Good to hear that no one was injured. Sad to hear about the loss to the structure which will take some time and money to fix.

We always have to keep in mind that cooking with live fire is a dangerous business and safety has to be the top priority.
 
According to the article the smoke room was destroyed I wouldn't call 350,000 dollars in damage "minor smoke damage"
 
That sucks.  I hope they get back up and running without much delay or too many issues.  Those people work hard and its unfortunate they have to suffer such a loss.

Now he has to start out with a bunch of new smokers, after all those years of seasoning the old one's.

Plus now he has to deal with all that rain and flooding they are getting. Probably will be a shortage of building materials also.
