We belong to both, but find ourselves going to Sam's more often because there are a lot less people there, and you can actually find parking right away most of the time.Sams here no longer sales liquor. Costco is a substitute.

Alcohol sales are always a state by state thing.........................................Maybe it's a state-by-state thing, but our Sam's has to allow non-club members to buy alcohol.
It was like that in CO when we first moved back. Costco had a liquor store attached that had everything, but then CO changed the rules a bit and that store closed.Same story that if you go to Sam's to buy beer you don't need a membership.
