This sign is the first thing you see when you walk into Tomasita's in Santa Fe!

Yes, I had the red chilie on my stacked enchiladas, and it was awesome!

Then, in the lobby of the hotel, you had 2 choices for lemonade; with or without jalapeños!

That was some good stuff! The bride and I are planning to make some at home, but add vodka to it!
Oh yes....with the added vodka, sounds heavenly!!! Going to make some for Memorial Day bbq.

Love me some hatch chiles. I remember a time the ex was coming back from a relative visit with 20 bags frozen in her luggage. xray machine made it look like drugs . Quite funny.  There was a place outside of tierjas that had the most incredible enchiladas, Carne adavada wrapped in blue corn covered with green chile sauce. Total plate of christmas love. New store chain around here (hy-vee) has fresh hatch chiles at harvest time. I buy a case. Melissa brand but they are true hatch peppers. $20-25 a case better price than I could get there. I hope this year harvest like last years, they were hot!!  Got a few roasted peeled chopped bags in freezer.  Add a chunk to your sausage when making biscuits n gravy.... outstanding.

Growing outside New Mexico ??? Id like to see the tips on that. Grew some big jims a few times and they were just elongated bells. Just not right soil, temp, water something around here.

ok im done rambling on n on n on

adavada not asada
