I am more of a rum drinker when I have the hankerin , but you are probably right.
And might not be able to afford the tariffs on it either at the boarder. ha ha .

But, but, but... why is all the rum gone? Ask David! :emoji_laughing:

I just finished making up a batch of the mustard pickles. I had a few issues right off the bat, but managed to work it out. Boy boiling the sauce sure is an experience!

How long do you have to wait before you can open and eat?

Sorry I have been away working for a bit.

I normally have a half bottle left over when I am making them and not enough to fill a whole bottle.
That goes in the fridge and I eat right away.

So we eat them right away, and the flavour really does not change as the batch normally lasts a couple months ( depending on how many I make )
They are shelf stable for around a year.

When I am making the mustard pickles , there is normally a bit of sauce left over and I bottle that as well and love it on a lot of things.

What issues did you have with the sauce ?

David
