The kids are coming over for Sunday dinner. The request was for Brisket. I thought I'd smoke it on my big ol stick burner. Unfortunately I've got a long list of Honey Does this weekend and need the convenience of set it and forget it....

About a 12 pounder Prime grade. Well dusted with a 50/50 blend of Kosher Salt and a Course Ground Black Pepper. Just a smidge of cumin. Not too much!

It's nice to have both and electric and stick burner. This new model has made me really appreciate electric smokers again. The unit is solid. And the Bluetooth feature is really cool. I loved my old MES. This one is a better smoker.

About 10 hours in. A spritz of apple cider vinegar and water mix. The IT is around 185ish. So we have a while to go.
More later

Thank you my East Texas Pal. Turned out awesome. BUT no smoke ring on those electric units.
And you know that you and the misses are welcomed at my table anytime. B
