First baby back ribs

A grocery store near me had baby back slabs buy one get one. So today i'm doing ribs for the Chiefs game. Got the smoker going at 5:30 am. Now the real question is...how mad will the wife be if i crack a beer open this early? Lol. GO CHIEFS!!!!

It's a rule of smoking! I did a whole pig a while back and started hitting the keg at 5 in the morning. Beer dining and smoking go hand and hand :biggrin:

Sorry, i forgot about the before pic. They're about 2.5 hrs in. Just sprayed with some apple juice and just cracked a beer :)

About 4.5 hrs in and almost there. Put some hot dogs onthe bottom for the kids. My 2 yr old loves smoked hot dogs!

OctoDogs!

Cut the lower 2/3 of the dog into eighths prior to cooking smoking. L like to stand then up and splay out the tentacles while cooking. Suppose you could put them in a popper tray upside down too.
