Hi New guy here,
70 years old and figured I need a new hobby.
In the process of building an offset smoker out of an old propane tank ( cook chamber ) and an old air compressor tank ( fire chamber ]
the problem I'm having is with the seal on the fire box door. there are a couple air leaks, i am look for some info on what kind of gasket material and adhesive will work and will last in this high temp enviorment
Ive looked at a couple web sites ref. gaskets high temp, for smokers but there is not much info on gasket /fire box door
Has any one any ideas or used any product in the past they would recommend??
Thanks for any and all help
