Mrs. ThunderDome & I recently had our first baby, so a good buddy sent us a full dinner from Jack Stack Barbecue out of Kansas City. Has anyone ever had it?

Seasoned & smoked spare ribs

The directions said to cut ribs before re-heating

Here's the sauce. It was really good, but I just wasn't crazy about it

Here's the sides. If you haven't tried their cheesy corn...do it..now

This was fantastic BBQ. For vacuum packed frozen bbq, it reheated extremely well. The ribs were bite-mark tested and damn near perfect as far as texture. The Burnt Ends stole the show...tender as I've ever had. My wife loved the beans, and the cheesy corn was 70% cheese...so good. It was a really generous gift since I had to neglect my smoker for a few weeks

First off Congratulations on the baby ????boy or girl???? OK I'm really glad that your friend sent you a dinner and glad that it's good also. I know that you don't have much time for smoking and all that stuff so a meal is really nice to have. Then a good meal is even better. Now I'm learning how to sent my food up to New York my cousins are willing to be the Guinea pigs and so far it has worked out well. So get all the sleep that you can and congrats again.

Congrats!!

Your buddy is awesome! What a nice thing to do.

Fiorellas has a very slick website.

Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the new addition!!!

I've never heard of that place.  We see a lot of the vacupacked precooked BBQ stuff in the stores here.  I've always shyed away from it.  But if I see this one, I'll be sure to give it a try.

Just curious...what was behind the blacked out mark on the package below.  American Style __________ Beef.

I've had Jack Stack a time or two.  However every time I went was not in the mood for BBQ.

Neat place though and good food all around

That was very nice of your friend, what a good idea for a gift

Congratulations on the little one!

I ate at Jack Stacks when I was in KC for work. Tasty meal for sure. Not as good as a lot of the stuff I see here but still mighty tasty
