Hello from South East Texas. I started visiting Smoking Meat Forums about two years ago when I began to really get into the world of smoking meat. For whatever reason I never decided to sign up until today. I have been around BBQ my entire life but never got into actually cooking the meat until a few years ago. I think it is one of the most rewarding hobbies a person can have. Especially for someone who enjoys time with family and friends. I'm looking forward to joining the conversation on smoking meat and learning new ideas and tips to try out on my next cook.

Yeah I have noticed a lot of people search the forum before actually joining the site. In fact, what little bit I do know about smoking meat is from using the search bar before I tried cooking something. Thanks for all the welcoming post.
