I've researched advice here for years but finally joined. A long time member of another smoking forum that just has too many photo upload problems so here i am.
I use a wood-burning vertical smoker.

I don't remember the manufacturer, somewhere in South Georgia. It's ok, not insulated, not airtight and its not reverse flow inside. It has a water pan though so monitor the wood and temp and i can work around its shortcomings.
