So here is a shot of my trifecta of meats. It was a very nice day here in So Cal. We live over 100 miles from that earthquake in Ridgecrest. We kept it pretty simple. Ribs, chicken, and Tri Tip. Beans and macaroni salad for our sides. Dessert was homemade vanilla ice cream. Everything was so delicious. I hope the rest of you all had a wonderful day as we did here.

Food looks really good. Unfortunately I had to work over the holiday, so no special grub here.

Looks delicious! I had to work too, I wish I could have came home to a spread like that.

Looks great. Wish I had a plate. Guess I am not alone in the had to work category. I will be doing a brisket tomorrow.

Thanks everybody, the whole thing just came out so well. I keep wondering why I don't grill chicken more often. My wife isn't fond of it but she really liked this batch. I tried marinading it overnight in Italian dressing for the first time. Then I did some of it with a Tennessee whisky chicken rub and the other with a chili lime rub. So much good food. I can't wait to get my new kettle and have everything cooked over charcoal. Have a great day.
