Well if you're looking for Buffalo Trace come to Missouri. Every retailer has it stacked to the ceiling. I'm curious to see if the demand will continue now that you can buy as much as you want. Personally I doubt it. It seems that no one wants what's available but only the bottles they're told they can't have. Also, retailers have stacks of "allocated bourbons" in their back rooms. Don't be fooled.

A friend of mine is really into Bourbon and I was fortunate enough to be able to try this one night when he cracked a bottle. It's extremely hard to get in Canada and very expensive.

For the most part I stick with Makers Mark. I enjoy Basil Hayden, but it isn't available at the moment.

I think the Bourbon bubble is bursting. I took a stroll through the local Spec's last week and they had CASES of Buffalo Trace @ $25. I've haven't seen that around here in over 10 or 15 years. Even though I'm not drinking right now due to medication I grabbed a bottle. I enjoyed BT long before it became a fad, disappeared off the shelfs and in some cases over doubled in price.

I finally saw a bottle of Buffalo Trace recently so I could try it... good stuff! It made my wife make funny faces though!

WAHT! Cases for $25! I would have bought enough to max out the weight limit of my truck.

I get all my booze at Costco. Liquor stores around here have jacked up the prices since the grocery started to carry wine (just my opinion). The last 175 of Bulleit I bought locally was $30 more than Costco. And that was the last time I walked in the local liquor store.

per bottle but they had cases stacked up for the display with no limit. Sorry if I didn't explain that any better. It' still a solid price

If you have a Total Wine and Spirits near you. Old Huckleberry 102 is very good and only $20.

I had a great bourbon called Calumet the other day. Think I saw it avail on the Total Wine website for ~$60 but haven't gotten a bottle yet.
Read another article (now lost) that ~6 US bourbon distillers have gone bankrupt in the last year. They expanded (took loans) for a burgeoning foreign market in Europe and Asia but that market has gone soft...maybe due to tariffs and general political issues? Haven't seen any price relief in northern CA yet but with less total market demand, I suspect prices will drop. And if any that survived are still struggling with debt, if you need cash, you sell off your assets.

I find their Kirkland branded bourbons to be great. (Had one several years ago that was only so-so.) They typically have 3 different ones going at once (cyclically) but they each disappear fast at the 2 Costcos close to me. They used to have one that I'd bet a bottle was EXACTLY Knob Creek.

Was at Total wine & more over the weekend
Ran into this grabbed just for the heck of it. Took a shot warm kinda a weird after taste. Did another double shot with peanut butter whiskey was a lot better but probably better cold. Normally I just drink regular Crown

Yea, NO. I like Crown. I like chocolate. I'm gonna continue to enjoy them separately.
