I've never made it a secret I'm a Fireboard Fanboi - been using their original Fireboard FBX11 since early 2018.
Well, I've also been a beta tester for their Fireboard Ring for about a year and a half now. Since I am reasonably close to them (they're in Kansas City), they reached out to see if I'd be amenable to shooting some promo material for the Ring. I was, of course, happy to do so.
The Ring is unfortunately not available in the United States right now, due to numerous factors including tariffs, taxes, manufacturing costs and complexity, etc. (Before anyone goes off on the current administration, from my understanding, many of these barriers existed under the previous administration, as well, just in a different form).
Anyway they sent their videographer to my place and we spent a day cooking and shooting promo spots. I was happy to share my many years of experience with Fireboard products, and I am dead certain they have the best software in the game, hands down.
But it was good day. I'm no one special, just an average joe, but it's cool to think they'll be (possibly?) using my ugly mug to promote their products around the world, some in the US, some in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Just sharing, as it's a cool thing for me, and I had a good time.
